DEUG conference with presence of Epicenter

Dutch Education User Group4 november 2010 the yearly conference of the Dutch Education User Group will be held in Amsterdam. Much news, interesting presentations are to be expected. Epicenter is one of the main sponsor and will be present at the vendor market. Beside of that 3 presentations will be held by Epicenter, covering the following topics: Workflow in CS (Redouan Oulad), PeopleTools upgrade to 8.50 and everything that is involved with that and finally a lecture about Development Guidelines for customizations in PeopleSoft (Clemens de Vos). Many foreign guests are expected to be present.

Dutch Education User GroupAs indication of its involvement to optimize the use of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions in the Education sector, Epicenter decided to become sponsor for the next conference of the DEUG (Dutch Education User Group). November, 4th several workshops will be held. Epicenter will present an introduction to connectivity with webservices in conjunction with PeopleSoft. November 5th, the main conference takes place and Epicenter will contribute with a presentation about management information for the Education institutions. TU-Delft signs Support Contract with Epicenter

Epicenter will be the new support partner for PeopleSoft HR operations for the Technical University in Delft. In preparation of this decision Epicenter performed a PeopleSoft System Health Check in order to detect potential risks in the areas of development, maintenance and operations. The Health check report has been discussed and recommendations are being reviewed now for implementation.

NUON chooses Epicenter for its application management

NUONNUON has chosen Epicenter as its sole partner for staffing the application maintenance of its PeopleSoft HCM and PeopleSoft Finance system (Expenses). Epicenter guarantees availibility, stability, performance and quality of the systems. The contract amounts up to 2 FTE. The contract can be extended to the end of 2011.

UK Oracle User Group Conference and ExhibitionTwo interesting days have been spent by 5 Epicenter employees in England, Birmingham. Birmingham, UK PeopleSoft Conference 2009There, the annual UK Oracle user conference took place with a special 2 day part for PeopleSoft clients. We have been studying the latest information about upcoming releases of PeopleTools and the applications HCM and Financials.

Upgrade PS Financials 8.9 successfully performed

KPMGKPMG have asked Epicenter to upgrade the PeopleSoft Financials application from version 8.8 to 8.9, using the latest PeopleTools version 8.48. The upgrade was accompanied with the move to the Oracle DBMS version 10g. In the planned timeframe the work has been completed. After a weekend work the system went live at July 21, 2008.

Ministry of Defense asks Epicenter for Quality Assurance

Ministry of DefenseSerious performance problems urged the Ministry van Defense to ask Epicenter for Quality Assurance support. After the first quick fixes had been applied, Epicenter staffs the new Quality Assurance Department that inspects all system changes before moved to production. The system is stabilised now, there is an improved performance and a much better maintainance.

Epicenter wins tender to upgrade PGGM and roll out e-Performance

PGGMDespite strong competitors as Gapgemini and IBM Epicenter has won the tender to upgrade the PeopleSoft HR system 8.8 to the latest version PeopleSoft 9.0. In a second phase extension with e-Performance (review, career plan and salary planning) has been targeted.
